Art 2.0

I’m increasingsly amazed what new inventions and creativity 2.0-ism shoves our way. We all knoe Remixes and Mashups, but they also mature over time and here comes one that has so many connotations, implications and interactions, you actually need to be “old enough” to get them all. Enjoy the snipplet of things to come in the near future:

What counts in life?

Being younger then marketing campaigns tell you to?

Knowing the newest YouTube-Skits? And Remixes?

Knowing pick-up-lines by the Dozen, without true insight?

Seperating feelings from thoughts. because of your ill-advised childhood?

Or law-induced reality due to cheap mediacation? Or non-lawfull coolness?

Not knowing where to go, but forward?

Ignoring that it will lead you or mankind to your/hers goal/destiny/soap opera only quicker?

But not nowhere more self-determined?

It will just dain your ressources quicker.

So where does that leave you? Or Earth? Or sugar-infused chocolate bars?

A lesson in our “Recombining culture”

The German election campaigns for 2009 suck big time. There’s no arguing, no 2nd opinion possible. The politicans try to lull us all into sleep by posting boring ads with no edges or relevant promise. Heading the way as usual: Angela Merkel.

If I were German, I’d be really pissed by now, since she should represent me and my beliefs as the German chancellor. Thank God for our hybrid culture of recombining and reusing and re-re-ing whatever matters to us.

And since the German political parties don’t post anything that’s real, the voters (=us) produce/rearrange their own posters. With a true message/insight. Like this one:

Footytube.

If you love footy, you’ll love footy tube! (big cheesy grin follows).

All of the latest games… sometimes in Spanish, but at least you get to see all the highlights.

All social media platforms in one.

I had the same idea for a long time and if you think about it, it’s just the next logical step. What I was missing was simply the time, ressoucres and means of convincing a CD to do stuff like this. A client with money would also have helped :-)

Click here to get to FALLONs site, where you can download it.

Damn buggers from London. I salute you.

Mathematica futura

I love numbers, since they always give you a non-neglectable copy to write. As long as they’re relieable. Even cooler, when you twist it vis versa and put words into mathematical formulas. Like here.

Well, long time nothing happenin’ here? Seems we’re all in the economic-downturn-struggle-cha cha cha. So here’s a linkdump with all good ideas and thingies. Since I don’t have any time to format them or shit, you’ll have to check them blindsighted. But no worries, they’re all good or awesome!

Pac-Man-Dungeon for all old-schoolers like me.

Not to many will remember the DOS 3.1 area. Or? See, I was right. The text based adventures. The 512 kb Ram. No hard drive, so you had to boot all the time from a 5 1/4″ floppy that had the OS and the software on it. Amazing times. Tears. Anexiety. Memories. Ok, so here so all the lovers of Pac-Man and text-based-adventures:

Le Grand

‘’He is the Leonardo of our time.'’ - Eero Saarinen

‘’He has provided enough for a whole generation to live on.'’ - Walter Gropius

They are talking about Le Corbusier of course.

If you want to buy yourself a present this Christmas (and have 150 Euro to spent) buy this book: Le Corbusier Le Grand.
The book is grand as well. In fact it’s literally a brick of 768 pages, weighting 21.5 pounds all together.

That’s probably the most inspiration you’ll get this Christmas.
And if not you can still pound somebody out with it, like that uncle you got, who always shows up uninvited and eats all the turkey.
